Lafayette Central Catholic is also the home of two former coaches who became head coaches in the Big Ten Conference. John Jardine CC Head Coach in 1958, became the Head Coach at Wisconsin from 1970-1977. Tim Brewster CC Head Coach from 1987-1988, is the current Head Coach at Minnesota. Former CC Head Coach Don Coller 1985-1986, is the current Director of Football Operations at Purdue.
